We couldn’t be happier to announce our Season 2 Lineup of Interviews. Beats, Beds & Browns has become the go to resource for emerging hip hop artists in Chicagoland and the Region. A one-stop shop for all things gardening and a growing list of fine distilleries.
If you haven’t checked out Season 1, hit us up on YouTube @beatsbedsbrowns. Hear the stories of @ethandraco, @vividscientific, @amearlymorning, @jloveraps, and @constantlburts. Catch the Season 1 Launch Concert to hear amazing sounds collected. Many thanks to Minority-Owned Small Business of the Year Rockablock Brand for hosting our amazing kickoff. Down from the jump, Rockland Page and his team put out the best designed shirts around.
If artists aren’t your bag, we also interviewed Indiana State Senator Earl Harris Jr. on the Urban Agriculture Bill he authored, Region Founder of Pitt Moss, Mont Handley along with the President and Soil Scientist at Pitt Moss. Rounding out season one are Rachel and Jesse Smedberg of Tulip Tree Gardens in Beecher, IL, a regenerative CBD farm raising livestock, Hemp Fiber, flowers, and vegetables.
Having just wrapped filming for Season 2, I’m now comfortable making the announcement. We interviewed hiphop artists @eddie_yuma, @queenielarouge_, @polarbeartriple, @gymshoeju. Our gardeners were from the Purdue Extension’s Master Gardener program Niky Witkowski and Steve Howe of @howefarms. Distillers participating in Season 2 included Vernon Brown of @duneland.distillery and Nicki Stoller of @boonecojaildistillery.
Heavy Hitters All Around! We are pleased that all of these talented professionals have decided to invest in being with us to cut it up!
We are planning our Season 2 Launch location currently and will release episodes towards mid August after we edit all the episodes and release them following the Launch Concert.
